Hello! I’m Rute, a Senior UI Designer from Portugal with 10+ years of experience designing for mobile and web games.
After moving to London for around six years, I transitioned from graphic and print design into digital and visual design, eventually specialising in UI for games and native apps. This background has given me a strong foundation in visual communication, while my experience in games has shaped the way I approach usability, visual systems and consistency.
I specialise in creating visual systems, defining cohesive UI identities and turning ideas into polished, development-ready experiences. I’m comfortable working with cross-functional teams across different disciplines and time zones, and I’m highly proficient in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator. I also use After Effects for smaller animations and motion pieces.
